3G means vertical; 4G means overhead. Together, the structural qualifications cover all positions and unlimited thickness within the applicable qualification scope. Your instructor will explain the exact materials, processes, and code requirements.

Training built around your progress
Start anytime. Set your schedule. Train to your goal.
Attend as little or as often as you like during Monday–Saturday shop hours, 7 a.m.–4 p.m. Train until you reach the certification level you enrolled for, without a preset training-day or hour limit.
Complete Welding Program — $6,800 total. Includes training in all five welding processes, career-specific MIG and TIG certifications, structural welding certifications, and LA City welding license written-exam preparation. Train on your schedule until you reach your enrolled certification level. Optional 6G pipe welding training and certification is available for an additional charge.
